a.kozak's 06 ex250 build (custom front end with pictures)

Hey everyone,

I've been on these forums for a few months now learning about our ninjettes and possible builds that I could do to mine.
With all of your help and knowledge I've learned a lot from here and thank all of you.
I have an 06 ex250 ninja that I bought late October as my first bike.
Great first bike but I've never been a fan of the front end.
After lurking through the forums I came across a thread RetroNinja posted about his bike and his custom front end he was selling.
The custom front end adapts the newgen headlight/front end to the pregen.
I picked it up from him a few weeks ago and got it painted to match my bike.
Big thanks to RetroNinja for the sale!

Before I show you guys pictures of my bike heres a list of mods I've done to it:
-Custom front end from RetroNinja
-Muzzy 2-1 Full Exhaust
-Pirelli Sport Demon Tires
-Rear turn signals integrated into smoked side pods
-SaylorSpecialities Fender Eliminator
-Smoked front turn signals

I've added some pictures below of the bike!
Enjoy!

Thanks man! Its attached in one piece and bolts straight to the frame.
I love how it turned out. Changed the bikes appearance completely.

Can you get a quick pic of how it bolts up to the frame?

I wanted to buy this at almost any cost but we just couldn't work out the logistics of shipping it in one piece.

Glad to see it went to someone who appreciated it. It looks even more amazing now!

Now you need to update that front fender and ditch that chain guard.

How do u adapt the new headlight to the old bracket, because the new gen is way different (I'm trying to do the same conversion, I already have all new parts)... and do u extend the bracket for the mirrors? Or just are attached to the fairing (I think is not strong enough to support the mirrors and they will break or are gonna vibrate a lot at highway speed

I know LuvNinja did it in the old fairing by cutting the mounts off the bracket and just setting the headlight between it and the fairing (unsecured). She said it was a perfect fit.

I want to do the same with my 04 ninja 250. What else do I need aside from the fairing, the leadlight as well?

I did mine like this. Best to have a spare upper fairing, newgen upper fairing. Headlight. Mirrors. and newgen windshield. You could get the front fairing stay form a newgen and reweld it to a pregen one to help with the mirror mounts but it wasnt needed for mine.
