I read this earlier and had a good laugh. First, the "foreign policy experts" are only agreeing with one specific part of Paul's foreign policy. Second, the author is only talking about two (2) people who agree with one specific part of his policy.

So ask yourself a question. If your sister got raped, and you knew who the person was that committed the crime, and you were urging the police to go after him... what would you think of someone like Paul saying to you that you just have to understand the reason why she got raped, and it was because she was pretty. This was just blow back for looking good. I'm sure in your enlightened state, you would be OK with this, and not think it was an inappropriate comment.

Inappropriate, that's subjective. But a wildly unfit analogy, yes, definitely. I can't even think of a way to reconstruct it to that might have some semblance of applicability to the conversation. -_-
