Battery cable bolts and rectangle nut what size and where to find them?

I searched for this on the forum couldn't find anything.

I need/ really want the stock bolt and rectangle nuts that hold the battery cables to the battery.

Where can I find these? and/or What size are they?

If you strip anything on your battery, or lose the terminal nut, the only way you can fix this is by buying a new battery, unless you do one of the following:
1. Go to a dealer or battery store and see if they have any spare nuts lying around.
2. When you buy a new battery, keep the nuts from the old one.
3. Buy a regular nut at the hardware store. Hold onto it with needle nose pliers and grind it down on 2 opposite sides with a dremel.

I should have saved mine from my last battery.

You can probably ask an auto parts store if you can salvage one off their traded-in batteries. Most were willing to hep me dig through for an Exide vent cap from my OEM Toyota Corolla battery when mine went missing, though I never found a match.

Or you can get a 6-32 screw and nut and grind two of the flats on the nut to fit in the battery terminal. No big deal.

Ended up cutting and grinding some bolts and nuts to fit.
