Battery Tender Jr quick connect

Hey everyone could you please tell me how to permanently connect the battery tender jr to my bike so I just have to plug it in and not have to take the seat off every time. Thanks in advance.

Just use zipties to route the pigtail to a convenient place. I use a Gerbing connector with an adapter for a battery tender, so it works for electric clothing, but you can certainly just use the battery tender connector as well.

DIY: How to add an accessory plug for heated clothing or battery tender

This is what I did, but in the places I zip-tied the cable to the frame, I wrapped it with rubber I cut from an old bicycle inner-tube to prevent the insulation from wearing through and shorting out the battery. My plug is under the rear seat for easy access and weather protection.

I just used the cable with ring terminals that came with the tender.

Thanks guys but what I was actually getting at was how to attach the quick connect that comes with the battery tender jr, Do I pull the pos and neg terminals off and the slip little circle thingys over them and the reattach? With routing the connectors under the rear seat.

Thanks again,

Jay

Yes, just make sure you have them on the correct terminals.

Thanks guys, one more question, if I have it hooked up the way we have been discussing, I take it I don't have to take the battery out through the winter? It is stored inside my garage, not heated though.

You've got, that's the whole point of having the battery tender.

I thought so, just wanted to make sure, I know some people still take the battery out and put it in a warm place...hooked up to a tender.

We ran the connector down with the rear brake wire, cable tied it with the brake switch.
