Doesn't look bent.

Clamp a pointing device (Pencil, etc) to the upright of the wheel stand to it just touches the wheel. Use that for a reference.

Would've been nice if he'd had a couple indicators to show any runout to potential buyers, but it honestly doesn't look too bad at all. There's a company not far from me that re-trues wheels for $75, so it can be fixed if the price is right on the wheel

Looks way better than the one my ninja came with, a bend and a crack, and I put many miles on it...lol

Then I replaced it with a good wheel.

Without a gauge, it looks good to me.

How could anyone notice with that camera work?

The real important surface is where the edge of a tire (bead) sits on the wheel.

He's asking $270. Can't seem to find any front wheels for sale! Rear wheels are plentiful.

Way too much. I just bought a full set of 650 wheels for $140 shipped, with rotors, sprocket and tires!

I paid $110 I think for my 250 wheel.

I think the reason for no front wheels, is those are the ones the get screwed in an accident

If I had to pay that much, I'd just go for this one, and have a new wheel,

I saw that one. The only reservation I have with a wheel that has 11 miles:
- Why does it have curb rash? Switched out tires? Why?
- I also noticed rash on both sides. I have 13,000 miles on my wheels and have less rash than that wheel with 11 miles.
- No rim tape? The owner drove it off the lot and the first thing he/she did was take rim tape off?

AFAIK, the non-SE models have never come with rim tape.

I seem to have pretty bad luck with bending the front wheel. Twice already.

First time:

Second time:

PS - Why is it so difficult to find a used front wheel for sale?! Tons of rear wheels on ebay around the $150 - $200 price point. But front wheels seem to be much more expensive and there aren't too many around for sale =(

I'd call Woody's Wheelworks and see what the cost would be to straighten it. Their site says straightening starts at $100.

The reason may be that the front wheels receive the first impact in most crashes due to speeding, left-turners, stop sign runners, etc., while the rear wheel is shielded by the mass of the bike.
The low availability naturally increases the price.

The last bent seems very much repairable.
