Valentino Rossi tests Ducati Desmosedici GP12 MotoGP 1000cc at Jerez
 Valentino Rossi took his first laps on next year's 1000cc Ducati Desmosedici GP12 at the Jerez circuit in SpainIn contrast to the wet and unpredictable weather that befell the MotoGP contingent last Sunday, the conditions for Valentino Rossi’s first laps onboard the new Ducati Desmosedici GP12 1000cc machine were sunny and warm, with 84 degree F ambient temps and 106 degree F track temps greeting the nine-time World Champion accompanied by strong winds. After an initial shakedown run of six laps just after 11:00 am, Rossi then dove into major schedule of testing, completing a total of 50 laps at the end of the day.
