Shogun Crash Kit

Hi Guys i just baught the shogun complete crash kit for my ninja 250r 09" and just noticed the instructions say in part 9 to cut the Counter Shaft Cover and i thaught these were "no cut" install. i was wondering if this is maby a mistake from an older ninja 250? Has anyone installed these without having to cut anything up?

Thanks

You have to cut the counter shaft cover. When they say no-cut, they are referring to the fact that you don't have to cut a hole in your fairings. Its really a pretty easy job to remove the cover, then notch it with a dremel or angle grinder.

i'm sure you can do it with a hacksaw if you don't have a dremel. its a pretty minor cut

I used a 4" makita and a round rasp then a rat tail to finish it up.

Thanks guys but im just going to take it to the bike guys and they said they could do it for me. Now my next problem is the fender eliminator that came in the package i oredered from fatbikez ( http://fatbikez.com/ninja-250r-total...otection-.html ) doesnt seem to have a plate light which i dont think is legal to not have your licence plate lit up here in Aus so i need to get something that looks ok.
