Question with seat

I have a question can I put a 2012 Kawasaki 250 seat on a Kawasaki ninja 2007 or below. I like the tail of a 2012 seat and I was wondering of I could put that fairing and seat on a 2007 or below. Thanks in advance here are link for what I'm talking about

Short answer: No.

Long answer, how much time and skill do you have to fab up what you need?

Looking at the two, a direct bolt on conversion isn't going to happen - the tails changed too much between the years.

Looking at the part diagram you can see how the newgen narrows more than the pregen turning it from a boxy tail to a pointed end.

2002 Frame:

2012 Frame:

It'd be interesting if you can pull it off.

yes here in the philippines , we have this shop called JBB modifications , he can convert any motorcycle into a YAMAHA R6 replica .. the rear of the r6 and the newgen is like the same , how he do it is he just cut the old frame and weld a new frame that is similar to the r6 tail , he also sell the seat , the whole package cost just around 5000 pesos , or around $107 ? in total , if you want the complete r6 fairing and the bigger front inverted fork with the dual front disc brake , he will do it for around $400

The inverted front fork with the dual disc , the 2 wide mags , swing arm all came from this china bike called z200 explorer.
About the rear frame , i dont exactly know which he uses .

Without paint it is 100$ cheaper

most of these bikes are 150cc-250cc single cylinders, with dual rear shocks , and very thin front fork with single disc rotors...

Final product , this is not a yamaha R6 , look at the exhaust manifold there is only 1 because this is a single cylinder ricer bike
