Andy, if you haven't replaced your exhaust and only remove the snorkel, you can install just the needles and adjust the mixture screws out 2.5-3 turns and get great performance! The OEM main jet is just the right size.

That's pretty much what I was planning on doing, but thanks for the advice! I still have the stock exhaust and I was only going to shim for now, but when I saw the price, I knew I wouldn't get a jet kit any cheaper...ever, so I jumped on it. Eventually I'd like to upgrade the exhaust, which is why I wanted the whole kit.
