They have a brand new one just like this with a full 12 month warranty left over from last year at my dealer for $6500 that keeps calling me

The 2008 brand-new leftovers will be at $6K soon enough. The 2009 ZX-6R is such a leap over the 2008, that it would be hard to justify picking up an '08 right now unless there was a huge $ savings involved. 22 lb weight loss, +10 hp over a large portion of the power curve. The looks are polarizing, but it has gone from the bottom of the class to the top of the class in a year.
