I bought this Alu-rack for the ninja 250 model 2012, but haven't installed it yet.
Any possibilities for adapting the side racks with this system?

I have seen the GIVI option available in Thailand, and is great!
Too bad I already have the Alu-rack.
Otherwise I would buy the HR4 (top rack arm) and add the ready to install HB435 (side case holder).

I know this isn't a new thread, but was wondering how badly the rack cuts down on the brake light visibility???

I'm considering the Coocase to go with the Alu-Rack. Trouble is the TwistedThrottle site only lists the V37 under my new-gen, but I'm really interested in the S50 (larger). The Coocase webpage looks like it hasn't been updated since 2008 (only list older models), so no info there. It makes me a little nervous that they would have their webpage so out of date, but they do have great reviews. I can't imagine why it wouldn't fit.... I sent of an email to Twistedthrottle about both my questions.... we'll see what they say.

Put in my order this weekend. TT said the S50 will indeed fit, and brake light visibility isn't cut much at all. Another forum concurs.

Twisted throttle rack and JC Whitney case

I really like everything. I don't put any weighty objects in Whitney case because the case sits way past rear wheel. It's very nice for light jackets, gloves, books etc. You'd be surprised how much it holds. Good purchase.

I forgot to specify that in the end I went with the V37. I figured since it's primarily a commuter bike I would be more likely to utilize the smaller case, where as I probably wouldn't put a larger case on the bike very often. I suppose I can always upgrade if I find it isn't enough room, but I've been getting by with a LOT less space.

UPDATE: (as mentioned in the Alu-Rack thread), I got, installed, and am enjoying the V37 Wizard Coocase. I really like it.

However.... I went a little too conservative for my tastes, and would really prefer the larger model. Since I'm out of cash, I'm stuck with this one for a little bit and will get use out of it, BUT if anyone is interested in making a deal, send me a PM. Eventually I plan on posting it in Marketplace.
