Starting Issues

2007 ninja 250r.
I garaged it for a year.
I decided to pull it out, and go for a ride...well....it won't start.
The battery is dead, so I just booked it up to my cars battery.

It will crank....but no start. It does however sound like it realll lywants to start. It will pop and sputter every few seconds.
I have tried the following:
New plugs...with gapping
Checked for spark...yes, it has a spark
I checked the petcock, its free and clear
Cranked the motor with the fuel line disconnected, it shoots out just fine.
I've literally checked everything. I've even pulled and cleaned the carbs, and adjusted the valves. I'm running out of ideas.
I did spray some carb cleaner into the cylinder and airbox....nothing.

What I do find kind of weird, is that I can see fuel vapors coming from the airbox as I crank.

Any help would beappreciated

Describe exactly how you cleaned the carburetors?

Sounds like the carburetors my be your problem. Any modifications to the bike?

You completely drained the old gas from the tank, right?
