I know what you mean. Seeing my name sometimes feels odd---I like to browse anonymously until I decide to say something!

I think it's because we have some slack jawed, knuckle draggin', mouth breathin' juveniles on this site who set this up. Apparently Alex doesn't give a damn unless you make a ethnic reference. You have to be from the Left Coast to understand.

If you can't spare a hand, you can do the British wave.

There's some information about it in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles...ottom-comments

I guess I should have said it was a European wave, rather than just British.

I get it. If you shook your leg here they would think you had a leg cramp or had to go to the bathroom. You could stand on the pegs and wiggle your butt - but in San Francisco they would get the wrong idea.

Good man! I always pull over to help a biker. I remember one time my girlfriend and I stopped in the Adirondack Mountains to put on our rain gear. Two Canadians riding a Honda CB350 pulled over to see if we were OK. We all rode together to Monction, N.B. where we parted and we rode on to P.E.I.
Three years ago a newbee on his first bike (Honda VT500) was pulled over with is front brake locked-up. His master cylinder return hole was plugged. I rode home, got some tools and bled off the pressure on his front brake. I'll stop anytime for a biker - sometimes a car even if a guy is driving.

I stop for literally eveyone, if they look like they are in trouble or need help its no biggy lol you'd be surprised as how things work in the universe. Little story: I was out on my sled in the winter. The sled broke down on the middle of the lake, dude comes up and tows mW home. I felt I was in his debt he was like no no don't worry about it. The next year I was out flying across the lake and I spot a guy standing there with the cowling up. I drive over because driving away out on the ice means life or death to someone, turns out it was the same fricking guy!!! So I towed him home to his house and returned the favor. Now get this the story continues, when I wiped my bike out on the over pass out in his area guess who came riding around the corner on a pedal bike with flip flops looking like the big lebowski? That's right, it was Max again and again he helped me pick up the parts while all the motorcyclists and cars drove right on by. The world isn't as big as you would imagine.

OK, story telling corner here. I was in a grocery store checkout and was short $0.04 to pay the tab. The guy in line says you're short $0.04, here, and hands me a $0.10 coupon. I thank him and the checkout clerk hands me a $1.00 off coupon for the next time I visit the store. I hand it to the guy who just gave me the $0.10 coupon.

Jesus love me yes he do.

A lady should only do that if she's "walkin' heavy".

Can't blame you there. Its not obligatory and I suggest females do not stop. Ever. Not because of some cultural bias but because let's be real... Dudes be creepy... Hell some dudes even creep me out and I'm also a dude! LOL

Glad to give you a giggle!

It's not hardly safe for anybody to stop if they're alone.
