2010 ninja Motorcycle not cranking problem

I left it outside one day and came back and it started and I started riding it, in first gear it wasn't trying to pick up speed but once I got it in second and so on it was working fine. I pulled over for food and got back on, and it had the same problem and this time it actually died on. I parked and started it and had low rpms and would die if I pulled the throttle back. Now it wont even crank over. I took out the carb and gave it a quick cleaning. And It was pretty much clean inside the carb, hooked everything back up and started hoping it would crank. Still having the same problem.

Is there fuel in the tank?

You are killing that poor battery and over-heating the starter motor !!!

i'm assuming your carb clean did not include a jet clean

if so- what about your floats? what is the fuel level of the carbs? are they even getting filled? how about your petcock? functioning correctly?

Here's a few possible things that can be wrong.

Did your bike sit in the rain?
Depending on where you left your bike outside in NC, you've probably got some water in your gas. It's rained pretty darn hard over the last couple of days. Water in the gas is a common problem after being out in the rain. Draining the carbs and fresh gas usually fixes the issue. Also check your snorkel, air filter and airbox for any obstruction, dirt or contaminants.

Are you using the choke to start the bike?
A cold, lean engine will produce thing such as difficult starting and running. Also not getting the bike up to a good rpm speed when trying to take off will also stall the engine. Trying to launch at just off idle speed won't get it.

What is your warm engine idle speed?
Low idle speed will also keep the bike from running and starting properly. The last few days the temp has dropped so a small change/adjustment in idle speed may needed. (adjust to 1350 +/- 50 rpms) If your idle speed is too, you may to try turning the idle adjustment knob a little just to see if it helps get the bike started.
