Trunk Monkey

So This question probably has been answered already but I could not find it anywhere in the forums.

Is it OKAY to have a passenger ride on the back seat of a ninja 250r if she does not exceed the weight limit.. lol

Need to know ASAP have a date Friday

I don't think she'll like hearing that you called her a monkey! +1 on what ricochet08 said. Just take it easy.

I've carried a lady who weighted twice myself (and almost as much as the bike). The little ninja didn't move very fast, but we got there. I think she became a bit self conscious, so she didn't want to ride after that, lol.

I just finished typing a very long post that got deleted by a web page load error . It basically said that I shift at higher rpm with a passenger to increase time between shifts and make it seem smoother; be careful while braking because the front forks tend to dive easily with the added weight. I've ridden with my gf at a total weight of about 380lbs and have had no problems. Make sure your passenger knows to lean with you in turns and hold on while you accelerate / brake.

The fact that you asked the question seems to imply you have not done this before so be real careful if you are a new rider. It will change the balance of the bike having that extra person sitting up high behind you.

You do have a jacket, gloves, and helmet for her, right? Or are you going to let her wear yours?
