Rotor bolt hole spacing and pattern.
Anyone here know what 300mm disc brake rotor is compatible with the 300 Ninja. I am in the middle of a ZX6R front end swap and the only item I am still unclear on is the rotor. The stock one is 290mm just a tad to short for the ZX6R caliper. Either that or I will have to machine 5mm of the mounts so I can use the stock rotor.
I am planning on running the stock wheel with only one brake caliper. I will chop the left hand side brake caliper mounts off and smooth out the fork lower.

I had to do that on my ZX10. I wound up bringing my caliper to a machine shop and they shaved 5mm off.
Cant help you with any bolt pattern info, sorry! |

Why not get a 300mm rotor off eBay or better yet a 320mm the added braking power would be nice. Also I think the brake pads on the new caliper are to wide for the stock rotor.

I will get one off eBay if I can figure out which 300mm one is compatible so I know what to buy. Hence the ask of anyone who knows which other Kawi models have compatible bolt pattern to the 300.

To close this thread out. I went with the stock 290mm rotor. I shortened the caliper mounts on the fork I was using, this had the same net effect as using a larger rotor.
