2024 Barcelona Moto2 Practice 2 Result: Garcia Takes Control Although wildcard Jorge Navarro stole the headlines in the intermediate class on Friday, his benchmark time didn’t stick around for long, as David Muñoz took over top spot only a handful of minutes into P2. While the field was quite closely knit for much of the session, Sergio Garcia changed that in the final ten minutes, going seven tenths of a second faster than the nearest challenger. Despite the impressive advantage, rivals managed to close the gap in the end, to only four hundredths of a second, but Garcia stayed at the top of the timesheets with a new lap record to his name.
