MotoGP Prices

Just for fun, I looked at the Indianapolis Gran Prix prices...and bare minimum, you need 650€ or, $851.89, without tax, if there are any. What do you get when you go to a MotoGP event? It looks like half the time, you don't even get seats. I'm surprised this isn't in my school curriculum. It seems like it should be, as it can lead to life and death situations . So, what's up with these prices? What's included? Are there extra fees to attend them if you're out of state? You can get a pre-gen for the cost of a ticket lol How about the VIP Village tickets?

I just saw you need a passport? Why do I need it? I live in the country?

Wait...I just noticed they're VIP Village tickets? What are those lol are regular tickets cheaper?

Yeah I was about to say...I'm gonna do my best to go to that race. Maybe we should have a Ninjette.org meet before the races.

I've been thinking about going to that race, 200 miles from my house. A get together would be cool.

I haven't been to motorcycle races in a few years but I used to go a lot. Watching racing in person is a thousand times better than watching it on TV. It is truly the greatest showon 2 wheels. I got to see all time greats like Kenny Roberts, Randy Mamola, Eddie Lawson, Freddie Spenser and Wayne Rainey go at it hammer & tongs. It was incredible! Definitely go if you get the chance.

I lived in Indianapolis for 5 yrs and never went to the 500 or the Brickyard. Actually I lived 1 mile from the speedway. My college would park cars on campus to make $. I kind of regret it. It was awesome tho, every year the first time you heard the cars going around the track was pretty cool.

I'm about an hour (45minutes on Ninja) from Indy. I'm trying to see if I can make things work with my job and school in order to make it.

I would think the Tower Terrace if you can see both sides from there (front straight and infield).

What's the most difficult and interesting turn there? I think I'll just watch a race on the track first to decide...
