Ninjette.org Recomended by Richmond Police!

How cool is this story;

I recently purchased a 1985 Kawasaki GPZ550. After some work I got her running and went to the DMV to register the bike, then I drove straight home (On my Ninja 250) and called Geico to add it to my insurance, and finally 3/4 or the legal stuff complete I decided to take her for a test ride...

Wayyy too fast for this Cat! Holy canoly that bike is a rocket.

I love the speed of the Ninja. She's manageable, superb handling, and a delightful little space cruizer. The GPZ? I hit the throttle once and was like "Ok, now I know. She's going back on Craigslist!"

So, as all good fortune events turn, I was pulled over on my way to the auto parts store.

The officer and I get to talking after the necessary ticket, and we get on the topic of Ninjette.org! How cool is that? He tells me I need to read these crazy posts from a member named skippy.

I took the ticket as a sign from the Universe that my decision to sell the bike was accurate, and then I pushed the bike all the way home lol
(Thanks for not towing the bike! :O)

Happy riding friends!

Hah! Was it officer Manganos? I went camping with him years ago.

www.skippii.com has the ride reports and stories he mentioned.

Reddish Knob

Skippii,

I am just read Reddish Knob (And kept sounding it in my mind as noob)
Well done. I hate reading anything besides technical information about mechanical or electrical, and I read the entire story without break.

I am delighted I got pulled over. It seems everything is a blessing, so long as I have a whisker of faith and wait long enough to see it.

bwahahahaha, that reminds me of when an officer gave me a verbal warning and handed me a flyer for a go-kart racing league last year.

Cool cop you ran into.
