The*California Superbike School*has been teaching riders how to get the most out of their performance motorcycles since opening its doors in 1980. Since then, a ton of other schools have come and gone, but*Keith Code*keeps innovating and expanding his school’s approach to riding motorcycles quickly on the street or track. It works pretty well, since last year, California Superbike School celebrated its 35th year, its 14 millionth track mile and its 150,000th student.

Code and his instructors have trained every level of rider from novice sportbike enthusiast to professional racers, some of whom may sound familiar: Ben Bostrom, Eric Bostrom, Roland Sands, Sean Higby, Tommy Hayden, Chuck Sorensen, and Josh Herrin.

The secret to the school’s success is a step-by-step approach to rider training in which the complicated task of riding is broken down into its essential components. Then these components can be addressed and mastered systematically through a series of one day classes.
