broke a girls neck ?

I want to try and be more active on this forum, so im trying to post threads that everyone can relate to and has possibly experienced, as you saw with the previous thread everyone has a crazy story.

So have you broken a girls neck while riding past her ?

I'll start off with my story, every time I go to this open outlet mall, theirs a lot of people walking around and the speed limit is like 10 mph, I go there a lot, but a few times I went I've had a couple girls literally turn their necks so hard they might still be in the hospital to this day! I think girls love bikers lol. I had some random girl shout for a ride too lol.

So whats your story ? Hopefully better than mine lol

No, no broken necks here.

Tip: The best way to be active on this forum is to be helpful/supportive of others while doing cool, interesting and epic stuff yourself. ijs.....

Good god I thought you meant literally! Really?! That's an actual phrase? When and where the hell did that come from?

Going with the lame stereotype of "chicks" checking out "bikers", you really should look at our Hawaii threads

https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=151233

Trying to find the other one...

I cant be helpful on this site at all, I dont know a thing about bikes at all what so ever, nothingx not 1 thing, I dont wanna learn either lol I just ride, thats it.

And lmao I heard someone else say the phrase before and it sort of caught on, I had someone tell me they had a girl ask them to lift their visor to see if they're cute nd then she flashed him lol.

So I figured if that happened someone has to have some good stories, but I guess I was wrong ! I guess this should have been a " funny stuff that happened while riding " thread lol.

Says the guy who rode from NY to FL. There are many ways to be helpful on here, you don't have to know about bikes. You can answer questions like what's it like in FL, or NY, or riding that far, or carrying gear bungeed to the back.

As you ride more you gain experience, eventually you might try doing some mods on your bike to make it better for you (then add that to what you can answer), or you might try some maintenance, or try a longer ride.

Tons of ways to be helpful.

Thats actually a good thread idea if anyone wants to hear how my trip went in detail, because I left out a lot, and a lot of advice, I didnt say much because I didnt want to bump my old thread, as it seemed to be an issue for some lol.

Either bump the old thread, or since that was mostly asking how to do a 1k ride, jump over to the Ride Reports section and start a new thread, including all the details you want.

That's what I do when I have a planning thread and then the post ride thread.

This sort of thing happens to me all the time. Even when I am not on a bike . They break there necks turning to see me.
Or just faint dead away if the are looking straight ahead when I ride past. I should have paramedics follow me around.

Not me so much, but my daughter really REALLY liked to ride with me and being on the angry growling V-twin of death would turn heads.

got a lot of smaller kids, most often in parking lots... I look like a yellow power ranger I'm sure.

We went to see a movie together, just the two of us, daddy daughter date kind of thing. Asked her if she wanted to take the bike... Of COURSE.

We get to the movie theater and she says, "dad, you know how many people look at us when we are on this bike?"... I told her I pay a lot of attention to the traffic and what have you trying not to get killed.

she said, "all of them dad, every one we pass has to look at this bike and see what sounds so grumbly and looks even more scary"

Had a guy walking across the parking lot turn around and walk back, he could not figure out what Suzuki it was... he said, "that's not a 'busa' is it?" I said no it's not, and if you think it looks awesome wait until you hear it.

It's a love / hate thing, either they really like it, or they are totally opposed to it. Not much in between.

In truth this is what I really like about this website, a good number of female riders. I can count the number of female liter bike pilots over at ZX-10R, or TLZone.net with out taking my shoes off. Maybe 3 10R pilots, and 2 TLR pilots who post on those sites.

those bikes are not for the timid, male or female.

I'm a woman so it's the opposite - mostly dudes that get whiplash looking over. Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever seen a woman staring, except for middle aged ladies or grandmas looking frightened on the highway, like this:

There is nothing sexier than a man in full gear on a sport bike. Of course my hubby is the sexiest. I love the way a man looks with a fast machine between his legs.
I am just happy if I am noticed (so they don't hit me). I also have more women look at me than men.

They weren't breaking their necks - they were staring at you because you broke their eardrums.

Generally when you ride a motorcycle, the only reason people look at you is because either they are fellow motorcyclists checking out your ride, or you've done something annoying to gain their attention.

250s in general do this to me, especially pregens. Zero in on that sucker from three blocks away, can tell just by the sound at this point.

Not on my bike but I had a couple of girls sitting on the sidewalk in my community shout out they liked my car as I drove by looking for parking. I was surprised I even heard them since i got cams and 3" exhaust.

I just like to see a guy on a small bike for once... some dude revving his gixxer 1000 with cheap stick on flush mount signals, a chopped pipe and a ghetto fender eliminator just doesn't do it for me...

Yeah, me neither. I think I've only seen one person riding a 250 this whole summer (and some parked ninjettes). One day, I'll pull up to someone in a track suit on a 250 next to a light, and it will be a special moment... I think we might even hold hands...

Hahaha. I've seen a lot of Ninja 250s! All of their riders were guys! Some of them even waved back to me.

Oh yeah, I saw the 'Blockbuster' Ninja 250 on Beach Drive in Bethesda MD, blue with the yellow stripe thingies, is that anyone's bike? There's a guy who comes to my shop who just got a 300 from a 250 that he 'totaled' (all cosmetics..) And a red pre-gen I see sometimes around my area.

I don't see many bikes at all though.. But when I do, there are a surprisingly high number of adventure/touring bikes like the BMW GS 650 or the Kawasaki Concours. Those guys are usually pretty cool, they sometimes have great stories of their trips!

M42 do you always wear a track suit when you ride?

Buy my alien pants, I literally have not worn my other set of gear since I got the two piece. They look much less REDY 2 RASE than most riding pants. Hella hot tho.

Ughhh the thought of wearing leather pants makes my skin crawl. I might invest in a pair of those Kevlar jeans. When they make them for 5'5 100lb girls who aren't trying to be frumpy soccer moms at 21.
