Actually, I wasn't complaining about Jeff's perfectly legitimate ban. He trolled he got banned. However, trolling is trolling and banning one but leaving another big ole troll doesn't seem quite fair.

Fair enough. I'm human, as are most of us, with a full-time gig, like most of us. I review posts that get reported. Believe it or not, the first and only reported post in this thread in months was Jeff's as it evidently was starting to get out of hand. Now it seems like a pile-on where people are doing their best to step in front of some uber-present ban hammer to make a point, and I don't get it. If folks are really up in arms about how other people are behaving, it's really easy to express that displeasure with a click; it's that red triangle sitting right under their avatar. I'll review 'em, and if it's a clear violation, I'll make the best choice under the circumstances.

But I have to wonder, what's the point in this case? Is it better just to lock this thread and move on?

I don't think it was the "trolling" aspect. I think it was "personal attacks." Though I agree that Casey was also out of line, he directed his comments at multiple usually un-named people.

Months ago when I made a simple comment about his f'ed up BP (i didn't even say i was better than him. just told him what seemed wrong about it compared to guys who can run circles around him on track) which meant absolutely no harm was misinterpreted by Casey and he started to talk sh!t at me on every single (related or not) thread I've been on. His lack of class and personality is what drives him away from the Socal guys. It's not by choice. He just can't get along.

I personally choose to ride alone on track for the most part nowadays but I can still vouch for any of the Socal guys (mostly Kev, Max, Jeff and Alex S. since I hung out with them most) and assure all of you they are very friendly and helpful.

So the problem is not Jeff at all. It is Casey. He's socially awkward and have ego issues and can't take a single piece of criticism. I used to laugh at him but now it's just sad...

Casey, Kevin or Alex can ride backwards and still lap you at the track. Take my word for it. Have fun on GMR.
