A nice, big rack

Just bought this off CL for $25. I had already been thinking about building something similar and this saves me a LOT of welding and figuring!

Now to come up with brackets. I know it will tie in to the rear subframe, likely around the turn signals. But I was also thinking about a second brace that runs down to the passenger peg mounts.

The idea here is to be able to travel with enough stuff for my gf and I to do some 1 or 2 night trips.

Sorry for the fuzzy pics. Not sure what the camera was focusing on, but it wasn't my bike...

I already have 2 of these float bags that are the perfect width to go on this rack, and then can still put another back on top of those with lots of straps to hold it all down.

I've thought about Alice packs for saddle bags, but not sure I will need them. I do think I will end up getting the expandable Bilt tank bag. 5yr warranty and only about $40 is pretty good to me.
