find out why it has a slow oil leak and how much it costs to fix
clean title?

check condition of wiring and hoses, a bike that old may have hidden problems

If you are able to work on it yourself, its not a bad deal on a Ninja 750. But at 27K miles, you can expect that your engine will need rebuilding. That's a minimum of about $500 more just for parts. Considering the age, its probably not worth it.

Then again, if all you want is a beater to learn on, then its probably OK. Its probably got a few more miles left on it before it starts leaving you on the side of the road.

x2, a lot of people don’t realize what typical scrap metal is actually worth - pretty much nothing. You need A LOT to make any money

You dont need a lot, you just need the right "kind" of metal....like scrap gold for example.

Oh and that bike is a 88...im thinking that odometer has rolled over at least once.

Or rolled back. I noticed that the digits were misaligned in the odometer. That can happen if the bike is rolled back. Then again, it could also just be the angle, but I doubt it.
