Turn the idle speed up a hair and the idle will take right off. Adjusted the floats a bit lower and retested. Still there. when the engine revs up u can shake the hell out of the bike and nothing changes (thinking if fuel level was to high it woluld show here). did notice that if i lift the diaphrams by using my finger, one would make a healthy whissle when the diaphram drops. The other not as healthy however i cannot find any tears on the diaphram. Oh before i forget, hooked up my sync guages and when the engines revved up vacuum is the same for each carb. If i had a vac leak i would think the carbs would have different readings no?
what is on this bike? is it 100% stock?

how did you set your pilot mix screws? reading back in the thread it sounds like you blindly set them to 3.5 without any further adjusting or tuning is that true? if thats true you should fix that.

to ME, it sounds like your pilot mix screw is not adjusted correctly, as well as your idle screw is adjusted too high... the combination makes it really hard to tell whats going on. because the high idle screw makes your pilot system almost useless as it begins to open the needle which goes around the pilot system

the bike is 100% stock. iv had the idle/pilot screws at 2.5 turns out (factory?) and 3 turns out. makes no difference.

how do you set the pilot screws not blindly?

if changing the pilot system doesnt change anything then the pilot system isnt being used.

turn your idle down until changing the pilot system works. this might mean turning it down so far that it wont idle properly. look at the idle screw engaging the throttle wheel. set it to where it just barely moves the throttle wheel.

you set your pilot mix screws by setting them to about 1.5 turns out, then while the bike is running slowly move them out until it idles the highest. then set your idle. if you need to go past 3 turns out or less than 1 turn out you need to change jet sizes, or since everything is stock and you know its the correct jet size, it means something is clogging your pilot system.
