20 roads you should drive in your lifetime
These kind of articles seem to pop up a few times a year. I think they did a good job with their picks on this one. I've driven 2 of the 20 so far on a motorcycle, need to find a way to ride the rest of them.

2 for me. The Rohtang Pass looks to be challenging, especially if it was wet.

Wasn't sure I would get many, but got 2 myself. I-70 in Utah and Valley of Fire, both on a motorcycle.

Did the Hana Highway in a Westfalia... Very nice road but somewhat crowded with tourists buses and tourists in rented convertible Mustangs...
Gotta be patient there, but plenty of time to enjoy the scenery... |

Sounds like my fellow ninjetter's have ridden more of these roads than I expected. I'd love to make it out west some time to see the great roads out there, and maybe South America one day.

eh, the closest one to me is in North Carolina. That is a good 1-2 days of riding just to get there. It's safe to say, it will be a long time before I get a chance to go anywhere really nice. lol

You should look around. There are some great roads in your backyard.

They left a lot off that list. The coastal highway in CA for starters. |

The Icefields Parkway Highway 93 in Alberta between Lake Louise and Jasper should be at the top of the list -

though I should be riding the blue ridge parkway sometime soon, I think I'll try to ride it twice. Once in august and once in the fall. It's really the only one on there that I wouldn't have to travel a good bit to ride

I used to travel a lot with my family as a kid during my summer vacations back in India, so although I haven't travelled it with my own vehicle, I guess I'll strike off Rohtang pass off the list for now.

I don't know about the top of the list, but I rode that highway maybe 12 years ago and agree that it is incredibly scenic.
