Dirtbike fell over, won't start now.
So i recently bought an 80cc two stroke dirtbike for cheaps.
I test rode it and it worked fine. 2 weeks later I go to use it in the desert, and it works fine. Hauls ass too. But then i do something dumb and fall over on it. After that, the darned thing will not start. I can kick it all day and it wont start, also bump starting does not work either. I checked the spark plug and put in a new one and saw it sparking. But will not start. Also there IS gas in tank, Fuel line flows freely when petcock is open. WTF is there to check? Help!!!!

For how long was the bike on its side? Nose down? Could something have moved, blocking the air intake?

Need more info
plug picture? wet or dry? If you have fire it would have to be fuel, Too much or too little. Assuming you have fire at the right time and compression. Thats it on a smoker. I have a 2 stroke LT 80 driving me nuts. I think it may be the petcock is bad and the needle valve seat is not sufficient to keep gas from filling the crank chamber up. The muffler had gas in it. Seen it happen before. That is my next plan on the LT anyway. |
