Simple factory seat improvement

OK so I was going to go all in on the seat shaping and gel project this winter.....but

This is my first year with a 250 me and my girlfriend both have 07s. Are asses were on fire after about an hour.

Had a 300 mile trip that we got roped into going on and needed a quick fix for the seat. Had no time for a improvement project so picked up some gel seat covers from cycle gear/revzilla.

Size medium.

Wow what an improvement. Did 200 miles, no stops no pain, stopped for fuel not fire butt. After riding with the pad for over 600 miles it's found a nice shape and settled into the seat. It does not slide around and the feeling of being slightly angled forward has gone away.

Trick is to take your time finding it's placement before you tighten up the zip ties. The velcro straps that come with it are junk don't even waste your time, just go with long zip ties.

It's so comfortable I might skip the seat rebuild this winter. Reviews say it's hot in the summer but I've used it in 87-90 weather and it's fine. Everything is hot in full gear.

Worth it!

That's amazing. I was getting desperate for my first big trip and a pillow definitely crossed my mind, lmao
