Front fender bolt question

While I was taking my bike apart (bike was bought from an insurance auction) I took all the bolts out of the front fender, when I was taking the nut for the reflector out the plastic behind it completely crumbled . From the outside the hole looks good but on the inside it is only about 105 there. Do I need to get a new fender or can I get away with the spot not securing the fender and only use the nut to attach the reflector?

Pieces were not big enough to use to rebuild it

Thanks

epoxy a nut in its place? a loose bolt around there will eventually cause a lot of rattling i would imagine, no?

or find some other alternative way to get a thread back in there to tighten the bolt~

ps, (edited), which bolt are you referring to?

the one that i fixed my camera mount on, or another bolt? i think this one is pretty much fixed to the reflector.

No I'm talking about the front fender (over the front wheel). The nut for the reflector (on the side) threads into the forks so there is no issue about the reflector not being able to attach, but I wondering if that one spot where the fender won't be attached tightly might cause problems with the fender flapping around and hitting the wheel at speeds.

Thanks though

I dont have a bolt in the hole where the reflector is supposed to be...the front fender is still very secure without it...If your worried, you can buy a bolt from a hardware store and put it in there...But it isnt needed..

the 250r's here dont come with that front fender reflector (sorry, confused the fender with the other part of the bike, lol)

uhmm.... id guess if the other 5 bolts are secure, you should be alright~ just make sure that the other bolt further down is secure.
