$1200 for first, $600 for second, $300 for third place payouts in various regional club races in 2012In yet another sign that Ducati is looking to increase its market share in the country that has now become its biggest market, Ducati North America has announced a racing contingency payout schedule for riders competing with its 848evo middleweight sportbike in amateur club racing events across the U.S. for 2012. Working in partnership with Freedom Road Financial (the primary financing provider for all Ducati dealerships in the U.S.), the 2012 848evo Racing Contingency Program boasts a substantial increase in payout over last year’s program. First place now awards $1200 for a win, with $600 for second place, and $300 for third; payouts will be in the form of a cashiers check directly from Ducati North America.
