White Sands National Park

It's spring break around here, so I went with some family to White Sands National Park in Southern NM. It may not be very exciting for those of you that have actually been to the beach (lucky jerks ) but for me it's pretty cool. It's a massive space of solid gypsum sand dunes. It looks like a pure white Sahara. It's also a really good contrast place to take pictures. So here they are, ENJOY! Sorry that they're all of my bike, but I hadn't had many of Fury until now!

(Sorry for the somewhat poor quality of some of these pictures. I was using my Aunt's camera, which isn't professional quality by any means! [I couldn't even zoom!!!])

Just to give you guys an idea of how huge White Sands is (if you couldn't tell from my pictures), I found a satellite photo of it online.

It may not look all that big, but the thing in the bottom right corner of the picture is the side of the satellite, so you can see what resolution the pic is in.

They could be cousins. Fury is blue and silver? and Tyke is blue and teal... Both are adventuresome runs in the family

If I remember what that is correctly, yes. (That's the little loop in the back of the park right?) I'm bad with street names and terminology like that. I go with landmarks more to know where I'm going and where I am.

Edit -- I think you might be right Sunny. I do know that Fury had great fun getting all that white sand on her tires, just so she could throw it off later!
