anyone else try doing this? Alternative to side reflector
I took off the ugly reflector and still didn't like the empty hole left. I plugged in some windshield bolts and didn't know if someone else has tried it before.

IDK, you might want to check your local laws to see if you have to have it on there? If not, it looks good!

Well, seeing how it is supposed to be a reflector and reflect light, you could put a 12 volt LED light in there, but then there is the little matter of wiring it up

I replaced mine with mini 3/4" amber license plate reflector bolts from ebay; they screw right in.
