Color Shifting Vinyl. Is their such a thing, and where from?
I THINK it would be a Farkle.
Ok, so I just bought the Scorpion Chameleon Helmet. As pictured here. http://www.revzilla.com/product_imag...Green_zoom.png And I would like to cut out and apply some graphics onto my bike to match the color shifting of the helmet. I've seen lots of bike wraps and they're awesome, but I haven't seen any color shift wraps/material. I've got the SE (2009) so I was thinking of either doing the white stripes and the tank in color shift, or just cutting out matching scorpions to go somewhere on the bike. Yeah, I know scorpions are kinda cheesy, especially since I'm a scorpio, but hey. Anyway, anyone ever seen color shift decal/sticker/wrap material? And if so, where? K, thanks. Bye. Chris |

Check Google or the yellow pages for sign shops. They stock tons of sign vinyl that would probably do the trick nicely. Another, although expensive source, is hobby shops that sell RC airplanes. Trim Monocote is basically just sign vinyl sold in 4 foot x 6 inch strips.

Thanks for the good links and suggestions everyone. I'm gonna research all the links tonight and I'll keep ya' posted on what I find. I have a couple sign stores near my home I'll check out if I have to too, one even does car wraps, but I work graves, so I don't like being up during buisness hours.
Timm3h! Timmay, TIMMAY!! I love it. I'll letcha know what I find. Hopefully my helmet shows up soon. (ordered it online after my local shop didn't have my size) |

Tapeworks seems to have what we're looking for Timm3h. Sort of.
http://tapeworks.com/ColorChart/ColorChart.html Go to premium colors, and then "Flip-Flops". It's only two colors, and they don't have Green to Red. Or is it more of a green to copper? But I'm gonna write 'em and see if they can find it. Once my helmet comes in anyway. I think their maybe be another color in it? I wanna have the helmet in my hands before I bug 'em. 1-800-232-TAPE is their phone number if you're more eager to find it than I am. I hate phones. They send free color samples too. The other links look like they MIGHT have it, but are more commerical oriented and since I don't really know what it is that I'm looking for. . . . |

I went to both sign places by my house. Theirs a few more people who think I'm completely nuts for believing paint can shift color. . . . . . But no luck on the material.

I run a sign shop, and I carry it. In 3 or 4 different 2-tone colors. Really neat stuff, gives a real neat effect in the sun. PM me if you still want some
