Anyone try using a GS500 Shock?

Anyone ever heard of anyone putting a Suzu GS500 shock in their 250? Just lookin through Kijiji and found one locally for 50 bucks, I think I might just go grab it and give it a shot, my rear shock is in serious need of assistance

I'd check the spring rate before, I know that both gen rear shocks for the ninjette are actually stiffer than the shock on the ex500. No idea about the Suzuki GS500 though.

Yup - the google rankings started to climb ever since adding the google adsense onto the pages here. (Adsense is what provides those ad banners). Since they have to figure out which banners to place, google ends up seeing pages almost immediately after they go up, and their index has been updating quicker and quicker. At times it's a matter of minutes between a page going up here, and showing up in google results close to the top. Looks like it took 12 minutes this morning. Yay technology.

Not without some extensive surgery to the plastics.

without plastics on, are the mounting points there? I'm just thinking about a way to get around installing this shock with a proper bike lift

so for the record, Yes the GS500 shock does "FIT", note it drastically drops the height of the rear LOLOL Yes I'm riding around like that as someone about 6'4, now if i were a real short person, I'd be in love right now, sooo I know there's such a thing as lowering links, is there anything to lift the rear like that?
