Looks very cool but that riding position would be hell.

haha. good luck trying to turn on that thing.

notice they don't show any video of them trying to turn?

Link to original page on YouTube.

also, no foot rest. you would have to keep constant pressure on your feet to keep it from coming off the pegs. nice $55000 garage queen tho. Too bad it doesn't light up. It's also not street legal if there are no DOT approved head lights.

Hahahaha! Awesome! Man, I can't wait for that movie to come out! I've already watched the original twice to get prepped! (Geek alert... )

Isn't a light cycle supposed to light up?

They do light up, at least it did on the eBay listing. They were selling 5 or maybe 7, each one lit up a different color.

The riding position looks a lot like the drag bike riding position...

I can't imagine that you can actually ride that thing. I remember when they were filming the 2nd Batman movie with Christian Bale, he wanted to personally ride the Batcycle/Bat Pod... or whatever it was called. They wouldn't let him because it was impossible to ride, and even the pro-riders/stuntmen had a very hard time handling it due to the fat tires.

if they had done two independent thinner wheels using independent suspension on each side, it might have worked out a lot better for turning.

Screw that thing, would look good at Starbucks or bike night but to ride it would suck ass. Looks like it would handle like crap, and should you ever go down it looks like it would give 0 protection and launch you like a missile into what ever is in front of you.

The image of that made me chuckle... I don't know if I should be ashamed of myself or not.

it doesn't matter what suspension they used, because with the light bike you're only supposed to do turns at a 90 degree angle

Actually in the original movie the only time they made 90 degree turns was during the games. When Flynn, Tron and Ram broke out they were riding the light cycles like regular bikes.
