Ninja 250s are a chick bike!

Well I totally disagree.

I'm a male, and I think this bike is perfect to help any rider perfect their technical ability while also providing the most room for error.

Also, after mods, I think these babies have plenty of juice for an urban landscape. Somewhere with lots of open roads or like Southern California, with all the freeways, is probably not the best place for a small displacement bike.

However, where I live, this baby is better than perfect. She's awesome.

NICE! I didn't mean any disrespect. I was just confronting a common conception. And that's insane.

Heheheh. As long as there's a line drawn, then it can be a very good thing. Women(and men) have many admirable qualities which they are innately born with and are worth emulating.

Be advised, I get deep(and sometimes incoherent) when I'm awake at vampire hours.

I have never ran into this missconception. In fact. most people are amazed when I tell them it is a 250. I always get the same response: "Wow that bike is fast and nimble, I thought it was at least a 600" So for me it's all the bike I need. It fullfills all my needs. Well not all...lol)

I don't tell anyone she's a 250, most ppl can't tell the difference by looking at it. In my opinion 250 is just a number.

Guys I work with dont believe me that my bike is only a 250 since it has the full fairings and looks cool.

And being honest I have been getting way more of a kick out of being able to lean the bike over and hang off in the twisties.

As for it being a chick bike why not, Ill watch chicks in tight leathers sliding around the seat and hanging it out any day

The ONLY people I have ever had say anything about it were family that all ride Cruisers. An Uncle and Father in Law on Harleys, a couple more Uncles on V-Stars, and my Dad on his Shadow. 1st time we were all together and got the oppurtunity to do a family ride, they were all nice enough to say they would go slow enough that I could keep up. How NICE of them. I played along....

After heading to some of my favorite roads cause we were in my neck of the woods, I slowly passed through them on a 1/2 mile straight before the twisties. When I hit the corners, I upped my pace a bit and went about carving up the corners and having a GREAT time. After riding for about a half hour, I pulled off in a gravel parking lot knowing I had gotten out ahead a long time ago. It took the group almost 13 min to get to me. I left them at the start of the twisties and never looked back. I WAS NOT riding outside my comfort zone, or even over the speed limit (60 mph on the country roads). I laughed my ass off and they have NEVER said anything about my girl bike again.

Last weekend I went for a ride with the locals...and a few who werent...

After the ride, I went to turn onto the interstate to head home, and I saw a CBR and a GSXR turn onto the interstate. I had to wait for the light to change. Then I took off down the interstate too....I hammered it, and I think they were a bit surprised to see a Ninja 250R go flying past them doing 105

Other bikes are this and that only.
I am a guy who knows the ninjette can do it all!
Cause I done it. Canyon carving, touring, commuting,
camping, riding with scooters, dirt roads, gravel roads.
Only thing it can't do is play dangerous on the slab, but
then I'm very glad it can't!

Wow! Awesome posts everybody. And I think everyone of you is totally freaking right! I have had similar experiences to some of you, and I have no trouble picturing the rest. This bike really can do it all and I am sold for life.

And also, I think you're right. When I ride up to the canyons and pull over at the "biker spot," People usually think it's a 600 and are surprised to find out it's a 250.

My bike is a girl, too. And her name is ladybug.

My better half named it because it's all black and red and nothing else, but I stuck with it. Just picture the "A Bug's Life" ladybug if you're feeling sick.

"Ninjette Between My Legs" a poem

There's nothing I love more than my "Ninjette" between my legs....

she feels sooo good at 11,000 rpms.....

I love to ride and lean her as much as possible....

she gives me pleasure....she gives me pain (when I laid her down).....

she never complains.... and always starts up....

she doesn't ask for much.....and is there when I'm down........

she's the apple of my eye.....she's the rev in my heart.....

she's my ninjette....she's my baby......

Which have is better, your top or bottom (or do you mean left or right). Black and red and nothing else is really disturbing, especially if it's the bottom half. Now I'm even sicker (not to be confused with sicko).

Guess girls really do like this thing.
I told them not to even ride until they buy $3000 in gear..

I'm too big for this damn bike. I need a big comfy GSXR.
(er, I guess they've gotten a bit smaller/lighter since the year I had though)
