Crashed

Ok, so I was enjoying a great afternoon weather riding my ninja then suddely chance upon a cool spot on top of the hills, so I told myself, why not- nice spot for a photo ops to submit to Ninjette.com gallery so left indicator on, slow-look-press- roll.. did the turn smooth and then as I was braking to a stop.. boom! gravel! I was just using my front brakes in bit of a downhill road, front tire skidded and I hit the dirt.. I remember vividly that I was smilling on my way down as I could have made it easy with my road bike. but I guess bike and motorcycles are not alike.. so stupid. I was ATGATT hence was ok.. my Ninja had her fair share of scratches in the left fairing, craked rear plastic (whatever it is called) and a dislocated shifter.. I still rode it home.. not planning to do repairs, let the battle scars stay! Ride safe folks!

Bicycles and motorcycles compliment each other perfectly. Glad you aren't hurt and fix up the ninja. No one wants to ride a beater bike

a little bit of gravel on a down hill while coming to a stop like that can be easy to underestimate sometimes the gravel seems more like walking on marbles.

Tough break, sorry to hear. It happens don't beat yourself up over it. Just don't do the same thing twice

I don't think I'm a lot dumber than you thought that I think that I thought I was once.
