Replacing my rear shock with a newgen rear shock...

Whats involved in swapping out the stock rear shock on my 2003 ninja 250 with a 2008 ninja 250 rear shock?

What does this shock do to the ride height?

Whats a good place to start on the adjustment? (Im 5' 10"/140lbs)

Thanks!

The New-gen shock is a little longer than the Pre-gen shock. The bike will sit almost 1" taller measured at the rear axle. This will make the bike steer much easier. A big plus for the shock swap.

The swap is simple if you have the center stand. Just undo the dog bones and 2 shock bolts and make the swap.
