It's not that hard to figure out who liked it. Either creep like alex, or just look for trends.

I think we might need to re-name it from 'helpful post' to 'liked post'. Many of us are guilty of using that button as the 'like' button on fbook, rather than a 'helpful' button.

Not easily; the stock mod can't be limited by usergroup. The only limitation is based on number of posts; those above can rate, those below cannot. But everyone sees the results of the ratings. It's possible to create additional usergroup permissions and make it an option, but it's pretty low on the priority list for custom coding.
