Breaking in leather
So for my first motorcycle jacket I got the Alpinestars TX-1. It's not the current model but the one before current. Is there any way to break it in quicker? Or more importantly, make the leather softer?
I put on a Dainese Santa Monica jacket, that was well broken in, and that leather was as soft and pliable as my pillow. That thing was SUPER nice. I heard of putting it in warm water and going for a ride. I also heard of putting mink oil on it. Any recommendations? I know it will never be as soft as the Dainese jacket but I'm sure it doesn't have to be as stiff as it is right now. |

Wear it and do everything in it! Also try putting some leather conditioner on it, might help.
