I've heard much of the same about rider and rider allows track days, does progressive cover you while you're on a track? This is more pertinent when I get a 600 later on for street/track use though.

Hold up! When did you add the pics? And... didn't we chat about those visors breaking off on those scorpion quick releases? Is that where it broke off? (hard to tell from the pic)

I updated with pics pretty quickly after I posted it, we did indeed chat about the quick release visors breaking off and that is exactly where the visor broke off (I agree, it's hard to tell from that pic) The helmet also got a few deep dents that you can't really see in the pic both above and below the quick release visor attachment so the focus of the impact was in that general area too.

already own my new lid

I went with the Icon airmada because the fit felt amazing, as it turns out the helmet has air in it's name for a reason. If I open the vents up air just flows and flows and flows, it makes it feel almost like I'm not even wearing a helmet. It's also super light.

Pic of the version that I got

You would have to ask. It's not something I looked into as I have no plans to do track. They very well may. I'm waiting for a call back from the adjuster for the new plastics so I'll try to remember to ask him about that.

It's pretty big if you're considering taking a bike that is your commuter imo. If I crash on the streets I'm hurt but I'm covered so I can still get from A-B if I crash on the track I'm not hurt but I'm also not covered so I can't get from A-B type situation. At the moment my coverage limits are ridiculous but I don't get any track coverage.

state farm, my family has a long history with them since my dad worked for them for 12 years, we still have the employee benefits on insurance prices. I don't have those benefits on my bike but I do on my car. If I switch I'll keep my car w/state farm because switching to anyone else would raise the cost of insurance to keep the same coverage.

When I had progressive, it took calling the adjuster (?) directly at Progressive itself (as in my agent called the person he'd call if I were in a wreck). She told me that yes track days would be covered as long as it was for continuing education type thing vs anything near being timed, scored, or any prizes awarded.

I had her add that info to my account along with her contact info just to cover me if they denied it later.

Last I checked with my State Farm guy, tracks days were still covered. I think I am getting to be a pest as any issue I read with any insurance, I am in their office confirming things. Rather ask a crap ton of questions than be caught unawares. But I still need to go through the policy book with a very fine toothed comb (me lazy).
