Thoughts on 07 CBR600RR For Sale?

What do you guys think of this bike? I really like the way this color scheme on the 07' looked. However, now that they are 8 years old I wonder what a reasonable price might be....I was thinking of trying to get it for $4,500?

It does have exceptionally low miles. Obviously I'd still need to see the bike in person to gauge it's condition, but let's assume it's in Good-Great shape.

Thoughts?

"I'm selling my 2007 Honda CBR600 RR. It is in good condition and runs perfectly. It has approximately 3400 miles. This bike has always been stored in a garage, never left outside for an extended period of time. The bike has been maintained its entire life. Please contact me via email if interested. I have the title in hand. "

I think asking price of $5K is about right. It is not too cheap IMHO. Not too long ago I found a two year old RR with 700 miles and extended warranty for $7K... Granted, it was in NY, off season, but the bike was in showroom condition. I traded her in, a year later, for more $$.
Why is he selling it? How flexible is he on the price?

PS: love that color

I think the price looks reasonable. It is just uncommon to see a reasonable list price on craigslist right out the door. Brand new left overs from the dealer can be had for under $9k around here.

could be a good find, they do happen from time to time, go check it out and look it over

Yeah, the dealers around here will still give you brand new for around $9300 for a 14', so paying $7000 for an 8 year old bike seems silly.

Hopefully I'll be able to go see it in person today.

I have a pic of one I think. I can say with 100% certainty, these 07 cbrs can take a beating and still keep ticking, just ask my friend Kevin.

$4500 sounds like a fair deal to me, but these hondas hold their value very well.

Sounds like it is priced to sell. It's a good deal, just check it over. For $5,000 I would say there isn't much negotiation left. That bike is worth about $5,500-$6,000 here so it's a good deal, not an unbelievable deal.

You can try for $4,500 but don't offend him... it's already a good price and he must be taking a loss.

Lucky you. I offered a dealer $9,000 OTD for a left over 2012 cbr600rr and he said no, he couldn't do less than $10,000.... ridiculous. I hate the dealers here.

Bikes like that sell for 4.5-6k all the time over here in the tri-cities. I do think prices tend to be a little more towards Knoxville though. I would pay 5k for that bike in a heartbeat, pending nothing were wrong with it. But thats just me...
