Speed and Strength are introducing three new textile jackets, two of which are meant for sport riders, while the last will be appealing to the cruiser crowd.

The first offering is the Lightspeed*($299.95) textile jacket, constructed from*what S&S calls Super Stretch-Fit AR1000 material, comprising the main frame of the jacket. The material is claimed to be flexible in order to adapt to a wide range of body types. CE-approved armor is located in the shoulder, elbow and spine areas, while reflective trim helps the rider be seen at night. Sleeve and waist straps allow for a more customized fit, and a belt loop attachment prevents the jacket from riding up. It’s available in black, green, orange and red.

Next, the Hammer Down jacket ($179.95) uses a lighter-weight AR500 frame, *which is still flexible, but more suitable for warm weather applications. The same CE-approved armor can be found here as well, along with the sleeve adjusters, waist straps, SpeedZip ventilation system and belt loops. The Hammer Down is available in black, lime green, red, blue, and dark green.

Finally, the Last Man Standing*($129.95) is technically a textile “Armored moto shirt” says, S&S, featuring a cotton-poly blend frame with a snap down collar and hidden YKK main zipper opening. The shoulders and elbows are reinforced with Kevlar thread, with expansion gussets in the shoulders allowing for greater range of movement. CE-approved armor also rests in the shoulder, elbow and spine areas.
