New from Magura is the Hymec hydraulic clutch conversion for all BMW F800GS models. Magura says the plug-and-play kit offers “a clear and stable pressure point while reducing the operating force for the clutch.” The Hymec kit also benefits riders with small hands, as the lever is adjustable and the hydraulic master cylinder is claimed to offer light operation. A detailed fitment guide is included with the kit, and a video fitment guide is also available on the Magura website.

BMW F800GS/S/ST/R/GT
BMW F650GS
BMW F700GS
Husqvarna Nuda

Also new from Magura is an updated version of its HC3 brake master cylinder. The “HC” refers to Magura’s patented “Hard Core Braking Technology” which has been designed to reduce the internal friction in the master cylinder while improving the compatibility for long term usage with ABS systems. The “3” refers to the mechanical lever ratio adjustment which “effectively offers three piston diameters in one master cylinder.”

The HC3, Magura claims, is a high-performance brake or clutch component compatible with all modern ABS systems. It mimics the feel of a master cylinder with three piston dimensions with a simple lever ratio adjustment. The lever securing bolt is removed and repositioned to convert the master cylinder to mimic either a higher or lower piston dimension.

The new range includes:

HC3 Brake Master
HC3 Radial for 11, 12 and 13 mm
HC3 Radial for 14, 15 and 16 mm
HC3 Radial for 17, 18 and 19 mm

HC3 Clutch Master
HC3 Radial for 11, 12 und 13 mm
HC3 Radial for 14, 15 und 16 mm

Each HC3 includes a folding lever, titanium clamp retaining bolts, smoked glass reservoir and mounting adapter, as well as pre-installed brake or clutch switches.
