Fixing an aftermarket ignition for ex250f
So i bought this bike for decently cheap because the last owner bought a bunch of stuff for it without getting it to fire off. I think the issue is with the aftermarket ignition system they installed. Iv'e noticed that you need a 100 ohm resistor wired in to the grey wire in the ignition. I just need to know where exactly it needs to be wired in. The wire it'self? or on the panel where the wires separate?

Anywhere between ignition-switch and ECU is fine.
It's like light-switch for ceiling light in kitchen. You can put switch at fuse-box in basement, on kitchen wall, or on ceiling next to light itself. As long as it's between light-bulb and fuse-box, it'll work just fine. |

By nodes you mean connectors? Doesn't matter how many connectors there are. Could be 20 or 50-billion. As long as resistor is somewhere on grey wire between igniton switch and ECU (IC ignitor) is what matters

Just posting an update to anyone who is having this problem. The resistor did the trick, and it now has strong spark.
