The Exhaust is a "Blue Flame Evo Carbon Fibre Oval Twin Outlet". They are located in the UK and took about 5 days (pretty quick =D ) to get here . It has a nice low growl with the baffles on and is really loud with the baffles off, possibly louder than two brothers? i don't have one to compare with. Unfortunately they do not make a full exhaust system, only a slip-on =(. But as of right now, if i take the baffles off the bike will need to be rejetted as a quick twist of the throttle from a stop will bog and kill the ignition.

Next step, factory pro kit.

I can't get a sound clip today because its getting late and i don't want my neighbors to hate me even more, but I will get a clip with the baffles on and off tomorrow and upload them.

But if you do the factory pro kit, then dont worry about shimming. Jetting is better. Technically lol. That sure is a sexy exhaust.

Welcome to the forum too.

Any other plans for future mods to your 250?

I wish a matching cat came with my 250 :-( lol

Nice looking bike... I noticed from your pictures that you put your frame slider pucks on the wrong sides... you'll notice that you exhaust side sticks way out and your non exhaust side barely protrudes. If you switch them they will stick out equally on both sides

I realized that after i put all my fairings on and saw that one side barely stuck out of the fairings and the other side stuck out like 10 inches. I've been too lazy to remove the fairings and move the puck to the other side. My factory pro kit came in so whenever it stops raining on the weekends in SD, ill get to it.

On a side note, maybe I'll get him a red SE striped cape or something. hahaha

Just a small update. I wasn't able to show off my DIY fender chop from my last pictures. Mine is a tiny different than most.

I also shortened the Turn signals and sat them a little farther back, i did this by turning them around and put the left light on the right and vice versa.

And I just added on straps this morning. I am biting off someone on this forum, i forgot who (phil maybe?)

I've been trying to find a way to put them on without having to tie them on ie. something more permanent. At first, i thought the best solution was to fuse them together by melting them. That didn't go so well as it either did not get hot enough of it got too hot and just melted the straps right through. Then i tried to glue it with nylon glue. Didn't even stick. So i ended up learning how to sew and sew them on. I am very happy with the results.

And I know everyone is still waiting for a sound clip, but i'll have to wait till the weekend to install my factory pro kit. Only $68.79 with free shipping from powersportparts.net

And lastly, My SE cat likes to sleep and get hair all over my bike cover -_-

Short clip before i tear the bike down. I think the twin outlet gives out a unique note at lower RPM's.

Hi!

I'm from Brazil, and I also have a 250R Ninja.
Mine is 2011, pearl white.
Here in Brazil, LE is not white. It's a green one.
I was in love with this White LE, so I bought the Standard Pearl White model.
But, I'm very interested on this decals.... I'm trying to find these sticks on ebay, but I've had no success until now.

Can you help me with that?
Do you, in USA, have this decal kit to sale?

Hi Tiago

I got them from this seller. To be honest they're not perfect. Some of the cut is rough and the di-noc (carbon fiber part) peals a little bit when its hot, but that's the nature of di-noc. It came about to $23 USD for everything and they ended up shipping the wrong one to me. After a month they shipped me the right one and ebay gave me my money back. For free, I can't complain but I don't know if I would buy them again at that price if they weren't perfect. I only use the tiny zx-2r sticks and since your bike is plain white, I am sure you would have a place to put all of them on.

I couldn't find the zx-2r ones but If you email them, I'm sure they can make the zx-2r ones for you.

Thanks for your help!
But I'm not interested on ZX-2R decals only.
I am most interested on the other decals yours White LE have.
These are the ones that I'm trying to find. On top of my list, are the decals that your LE has near the rear seat. That's awesome!
Do you have this LE kit of Decals to buy?

If you mean the black and red decals placed on the bike, those come stock on the 250 in the states. Im not sure why other countries only had pure white and not the decals. But it that's what you're talking about, it's fully stock. You may be able to find the decals on the Kawasaki website, but I kind of doubt it. Also, if you did, I'd imagine they'd be expensive.

Oh! you meant the OEM Decals. I got a little confused when you said LE and only had pictures of my zx-2r decals haha, we call them SE in the US. Anyways, I found out some information for you. You might be able to order them from your kawasaki dealership. Would be really cool to see the SE graphics on a blue or red or a custom painted bike. Just click the link and click where it says "DECAL (WHITE)" and good luck!

NO MORE TEASERS! YAY!

I had to wait a while to complete my rear sets as bikers provided the wrong rod/linkage. SAM WONG from SPORTISIMOTORSPORT.US has been extremely helpful and provided fantastic customer service. I will definitely be doing business with him in the future and I HIGHLY recommend him. The products aren't perfect (I will update with reviews in other threads later) but that isn't Sam's fault.

Now for pictures, because every thread/update is worthless without pictures right?

As the 250 sits now, new Proton turn signals, Bikers rear sets, Sportisi v2 Rear hugger.

Bikers rear set

Sportisi v2 Rear hugger. I bought mines primered and wrapped it in 3M carbon-fiber dinoc. As you can see there are imperfections or what seems like bubbles, this was actually due to the dinoc "glue" ripping out parts of the primer as I was working with it creating bumps in certain areas; If i had know that I would have prep a little better or just went with a painted hugger. In addition I had to do A LOT of body work to make things fit the way I wanted it and it's still not perfect. But from far away, no big deal and to me well worth it.

I think i need a wider rear tire, looks too small with that hugger on.

Added a carbon fiber kawasaki sticker inside the windscreen.

The tail is black with black/white decals, right? So I guess a conversion would require painting the tail black as well.

Nice work. Only suggestions would be to adjust the brake and shifter pedals down. Improves ride and gives it a sportier feel. Also, some clip-ons.

I've also been corresponding with Sam at Sportisis and it's been great.

I need to update my white 250 thread as well. ;-)

Too much carbon fiber look maybe... don't see any carbon fiber...?

I want the white SE as my first bike so badly... I think the wifey is about to crack on the issue... but I think I'm going to have to replace her 08 corolla with an '11/12 kia forte to distract her from me getting a motorcycle... I fell in love with the white SE while I was spending countless hours drooling over the remodeled 250r's, and saw a magazine article, which I still have, that does a shootout between the hyosung gt250r, honda cbr250r, and kawasaki ninja 250r.

Strangely though, in the magazine, the pictures of the SE very very clearly apear to be a dark metalic navy blue where all of the black shading is in the graphics, as do the wheels, as if the camera just showed everything gloss black in a blue-black sheen in the images... but I love it either way. Too bad prices are so unruly around DFW... I could buy a 650r for less than a 250r used, and for maybe $1k more at a dealer, if I got a good deal on the 250r.

Very much envious of your motorcycle, sir.

How much did it cost? I've considered ordering a few other things so the break down of cost plus shipping would be useful.
