I can't stop...

2009 ninja 650r!

I have no idea how many miles. I think under 4k.

it needs a front tire, a chain, a clutch (basket and plates), a clutch lever, a front brake master cylinder and reservoir and brake lever, possibly a front rim, mirrors, all fluids flushed, LED lights removed lol.. other than the LEDs it's bone stock. it's been dropped once so the fairings are scratched and it's been sitting for more than a year. I also wanna put on a smoke wind screen and an arrow slip on.

it has a clean title and keys. I won't tell you how much I'm paying for it or you'll cry.

You should just break that bike up and eBay the parts and buy another bike.

Under 4k miles and worn clutch! I don't think I want to know that poor bikes history.

Also, that's not a supermoto!

Has it been wrecked or was it a little drop?

I wonder how the clutch lever, brake lever and master cylinder got damaged.

But damn.....under $800 bux?!?!? Where do you find these deals? What's your secret?

I'm very anti Ninja 650 but for less than $800 that's a freaking steal.

job perks. and sort of a parting gift. or a bonus. some kind of reward for a year of hard work. $600 is what it cost my boss to get the title for the bike after it was abandoned so that's what he's selling it to me for. I am very grateful. can't wait to ride it

soooooo I just went 50/50 with my boss on a 2003 SV650S with 25k miles. clean title, good motor. needs a fuel pump, chain and sprockets, rotors, pads, full service, valve adjustment, fork seals, tag light. the owner threw the bike away for $600 because he has a new ducati and didnt want to do any of the work to get it back on the road.

so for $300, I got a carbon fiber yosh 18 inch TRS muffler, new oem copper tail fairings (mine were rattle canned and the clear coat was crumbling off), a brand new set of michelin 2ct tires that will fit my ninja 650r, and because I'm leaving the vortex rearsets on the SV, my boss is giving me an arrow slip on for the 650.

steal of the ****ing century, how come people are dropping bikes in my lap before I go to college and while I'm in the middle of running out of money...

I think it's just a matter of when you're around so many bikes all the time, you find stuff like this without looking. there are 25-40 bikes at the shop at any given time, with the sheer volume of bikes that pass through there are some deals. also, we charge too much money, so a lot of people are like omg that's so expensive I can't afford it and I can't do it myself so I just want to get whatever I can out of the bike. and a lot of people dont want to pay to have it towed back anywhere and dont want to deal with it or keep it.

all set! got my tags and registration today. rode it home with the dealer tag yesterday and commuted today on it too.

it just needs rear turn signals, mirrors (I have a set already) and handlebars (have those too)

maybe tomorrow I can finish it up. but its awesome! Im loving the **** out of it.

swapped the bars for renthal streetfighter which are a little wide for my taste but not bent

installed mirrors & turn signals..

took it for a long ride. it burns the **** out of my legs which apparently is a common problem with these bikes if you're under 5'10. I'm considering rearsets... it actually left pretty gnarly marks on my knees after 120 miles. other than that, the bike did great.

I was doing about 92mph at 7k rpm in 6th gear. it's a better highway bike than my SV. it's nice to go a little bit fast and not feel like I'm going to get blown the **** off the bike by my helmet.
