Evolution of the Ninja

After a nice 60km ride in -4 weather to pick her up, here's a teaser of the (stock) 2009 Special Edition 250r I got sitting in my garage. I'll update this thread when I get my mods put on.

Here's the list so far:
Leovince slip on
Snorkel removal and shimming
Fender cut
Shock Racing rear turn signals
Flush mount front turn signals
Progrip grips
Progrip tank pad
and possibly some Monster decals

and with her older sister - who's getting some work done

Nice bike. Does this bike come with green rim tape from the factory or did you purchase them?

So I rode down to musselman's lake to take some photos of the new Leovince... then I got home and realized it tinted everything blue

Anyways, the pipe sounds great. A nice deep growl to keep the cagers around me awake Without the db killer insert, it was borderline loud. With it in, it's perfect - not TOO loud but nice enough to cover some wind/engine noise.

So all of the cosmetics are done up except for the flushmount front sigs I'll do when it gets warmer. That and I still have to shim the needles and change out the grips.

so I didn't feel like driving back up to the lake, but I'll try to get some true color photos ASAP.

Is that the Ninja 250 Muzzy 2 into 1 exhaust on your ZZR-250?
If so, does it fit fine with the fairing of the ZZR?

no, everything on my zzr is stock.

stock settings and it runs fine, though I think Leo specifically says it can go on stock. There is more of a flat spot up to 5k rpm, though, so that's what I intend to fix with shimming.

My bike has been pushed out of the limelight by Ms. Special Edition here. Group rides this season, I will make sure to stay a few bikes away from you so as not to be overshadowed. Hehehe.

haha, the new gens all look great! But I'm still willing to trade you for the 06! And it's not me you have to worry about, I think Goldie grabbed a black one so you two with the slowest colors will be side by side

ya the green bikes definitely need two black ones to slow us down (not that I ever drive above the speedlimit ). Thanks for pointing it out to everyone
