Toolkit that comes with bike?
Does anyone know where I could purchase this? I need the spanner wrench or whatever it is to adjust the rear shock absorber. I believe it is a bit stiff.
Also, which way do I turn it to make the suspension softer? Thanks, everyone. Shoot guys, I'm sorry; this is meant for the 08+. Apologies, everyone!

There is a DIY in the sticky thread here that details how to adjust the rear preload.

Sweet, thank you. I don't think I have the hang of the search or wiki's for the maintenance because when I search "preload" or "shock", I do t get an accurate search lol

Ebay is the best/cheapest place - needed one for my ZX6R (the original one was missing a tool) and it was cheapest to buy a complete set.

I got lucky and bought one on ebay, I'd definitely check there first. You might be able to order the spanner portion, and the little tool holder online.
