If your having fun riding the way you are, don't worrying about your chicken strips and keep on enjoying the bike.

I've dragged knee on the IRCs at the track. They really aren't very confidence inspiring and it takes a lot of extra work on keeping the bike leaned over and maintaining your line. It was funny talking with racers though they were all like "you are insane riding around with those crappy rain tires." And let me tell you its kinda weird drifting a tiny bit into a corner and then gaining traction again when pushing real hard on IRCs.

Def. don't worry about wearing those strips off it takes time. I wanted to ride faster and better so I went to the track to wear mine off a few months into riding my 250.

damnitt! Jiggles i am super freaking jealous.i am having a blast tho with the bike i am just trying to improve my skills as well. every once in a while i take a corner and feel like i am getting low enough to put just a tad of wear on that part the tire. every time i get off the bike i look for the most minute bit of wear lol. not many fast corners around here that i have practiced yet. maybe its time to find some new roads to practice
